07 Sep Industrialyzer – Jam Sessions EP on Rhythm Converted
Industrialyzer aka Ricardo Rodrigues, born and raised in Lisbon and being an important key person in todays techno culture has made it to Rhythm Converted imprint again after his last appearance with his buddy in crime The Advent, when they showed the highly appreciated remix on Tom Hades his original Amphoras.
This time he shows his skills on a solo release where he recently is rediscovering the love for using jam sessions. During these sessions his love for techno in its purest form is coming to life and that is why this release is feeling so much like a perfect organic feeling. It feels like you are part of the production process and can literally feel the vibe that was created during those sessions. Jam 1 is purely build on a couple of polyrhtythmical patterns where it feels that the track is about to explode but then again teases so long and so much like you have to urge to keep on going, exactly like the track. Using clever drum programming and precise arrangement this track will do some damage for sure! Jam 2 uses more the question-answer thing between nice groovy drums, programmed in non linear ways, and some stab synths which are peaking through the whole song. During the break it sounds as if both the main elements are getting towards a discussion where eventually … no let’s not tell yet which of them wins! Just enjoy this fine fine release from Industrialyzer and make sure you get your copy for your sets. Dave Clarke already did… Previews can be found here.
