Alienata presents her first full solo release on her own Discos Atónicos label: the Quantum Skin EP, arriving June 26, 2026, with a remix from fellow Spanish artist Architectural. The EP marks the first installment of the label’s Deep Cut Series, a new direction for Alienata as she expands her label’s identity into more hybrid sonic territory.
About the series, Alienata shares:
“The Deep Cut Series is a way for me to expand the label’s identity and move into more hybrid territory, sitting between techno and broken beats. I’m interested in tracks that feel understated but still hit—more about depth and space, slightly off-centre, and built for those in-between moments on the floor.”
The Quantum Skin EP opens with Biodance, a percussive workout filled with wriggling blips and rimshots, remixed by Architectural into a deep, futuristic dreamscape. Alienata’s PMS Edit follows, a tweaky, stripped-back yet bass-heavy cut. Tigerblanket delivers a brutal electro offering, driven by a hard-hitting groove and raw bass, while the EP closes with the dark, brooding ambient piece Polyvagal. The digital version also includes a faster Strip version of Tigerblanket, complete with added vocals and hedonistic rave energy.
