A landmark moment in techno history returned to the stage: Jeff Mills’ iconic Live at Liquid Room, originally recorded in Tokyo in 1995, was celebrated with a special tour and reissue — and two of our own stepped into the spotlight.
The Advent and Sterac joined Mills at select shows on the Liquid Room 30th Anniversary tour, paying tribute to one of the most influential DJ mixes of all time. Originally released on CD by React and now reissued by Axis Records, Live at Liquid Room captured a master at work; cutting between records with intensity and precision that reshaped dance floors forever.
To see The Advent and Sterac, both legends in their own right, share the stage with Mills felt like a full-circle moment. They delivered timeless techno — not as nostalgia, but as living, breathing evolution.
