Marco Bailey brings Materia to Barcelona during Sonar for an evening of cutting-edge techno. For this, he invited Steve Rachmad and Paul Ritch among others.
Time to start setting up the summer party calendar, because Materia will finally arrive in Barcelona.
The concept, created by Marco Bailey and with him at the helm, quickly became a key reference when it comes to the analysis of the contemporary techno movement, a position earned not only because of the already well known series of events, but also because of Materia Music, a brand new label, and Materia Music Radio Show, a new radio show. Through any of its components, the genre manifests with music that challenges the already established aesthetical rules, and by strengthening those formulas that allow to take it to the next level. And its landing in Spain will be no different. Because besides Bailey, the city will welcome acclaimed and renowned names within the scene, as are Carlo Lio, Paul Ritch and Steve Rachmad, plus emerging talents like Miki Craven, Andre Kronert and Regal. June 14th will be a day in which music will be the gathering point for the beginning of a wide and intense trip through the unknown depths of techno.
